Prevention
There are no eligibility requirements related to any alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention programs.
Treatment
Any person may obtain substance abuse services from ATOD Treatment or from agencies that provide services in cooperation with ATOD Treatment. Specific programs that have fees will provide additional information separately.
Impaired Driving
Individuals who have been convicted of a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) offense must successfully complete an Impaired Driver Intervention Program (IDIP) or a Weekend Impaired Driver Intervention Program (WIDIP) to be eligible for license restoration.
Individuals who choose to participate in an IDIP must pay a set fee to the provider. A reduced fee payment may be available based on income and family size. Eligibility for a reduced fee is established by the Impaired Driving Intervention Program agencies based on rules established by the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Recovery.
The WIDIP fee must be paid in full and is not subject to a reduced fee provision.
The Multiple Offender Program requires full payment for the second DWI offender program. If an individual is unable to pay the fee in full at the time of admission, a payment schedule may be obtained upon request.
