The Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) periodically conducts the New Hampshire Youth Tobacco Survey (NHYTS) to measure the amount of tobacco use among middle and high school students in the state. The survey also measures knowledge about tobacco and the students' attitudes about the substance. The participating schools are randomly selected, as are the classrooms within each school.
