The NH TPCP won the Community Hero Award  for work to improve the health of a "difficult to reach" population  with their entry in the poster session at the Wellness Conference. The poster, entitled, Chains that Bind: Tobacco Use in a NH Prison, detailed the background, highlights, work-plan and future steps of the Workgroup that faced the challenge of tobacco use and contraband in the "smoke-free" Laconia State Prison. The Workgroup included the NH TPCP, Breathe New Hampshire, NH Department of Corrections and Belknap County CoRe Coalition.
