Training Audience:Providers

The purpose of He-M 1201 Administration of Medications in Developmental Services Programs is to ensure the safe administration of medications by providers to individuals who receive services pursuant to He-M 1001, He-M 507, He-M 518, He-M 521, or He-M 524, as applicable.  Providers who request training to be authorized to administer medication shall complete a training program that consists of a minimum of 8 hours of classroom training, exclusive of testing and Nurse trainer competency evaluation.  This Medication Administration Curriculum is intended for use as outlined in He-M 1201.05 (a).
