Medicare Learning Center

Sponsored by the ServiceLink Resource Center

Medicare Learning Centers are located at ServiceLink Resource Centers to provide statewide access to information as well as confidential and free counseling for people who have questions about Medicare, including Part D –prescription drug coverage, Medicare Supplemental plans and long-term care insurance choices.

The Medicare Learning Centers are consumer-friendly, walk-in offices located at 13 ServiceLink sites across the state. In addition to free and confidential services by trained-Medicare counselors, each office is equipped with written materials, a printer and a computer connected to the internet so people can visit important web sites, such as Medicare.gov and the Administration on Aging to learn about valuable programs and services.

Effective January 2007, the ServiceLink Resource Centers became the official contractor for New Hampshire's State Health Insurance Assistance Program (or "SHIP"), a federal program sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
