Public health disease surveillance is the ongoing and systematic collection, analysis and interpretation of data on diseases among persons and/or populations. These reports summarize recent and cumulative trends in the epidemiology of communicable diseases that are required to be reported to NH DHHS by law. These data are may be useful for health care providers, planning agencies and the general public to assist with identifying persons at risk and understanding the trends of these diseases.
