At the statewide videoconference on March 9, 2004, focused on food safety, Dr. Jesse Greenblatt, State Epidemiologist at DHHS presented a PowerPoint presentation entitled Hepatitis A, Norwalk Virus and Food Safety: How to Protect Your Employees and Patrons (46 pages). This presentation examines such topics as the infectious disease threats to the food service industry, including Hepatitis A and the Norwalk Virus, what restaurants can do to eliminate transmission of food borne diseases and how industry people could access more information on hygiene and other topics. |
