The Severe Acute Respiratory Sydrome (SARS) Interim Epidemic Preparedness Plan (43 pages) will assist health care workers and administrators, public officials and the public in appropriate activities toward preparedness and response in the event of a SARS epidemic. If this occurs, the strategies, guidelines and tools contained in this plan will help to rapidly identify SARS cases and their exposed contacts, ensure rapid information exchange and implement and coordinate effective response planning efforts.
