Arboviral Tests Results

Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) & West Nile Virus

Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) and West Nile virus (WNV) are arboviral illnesses spread by the bite of an infected mosquito.  Birds are the source of infection for mosquitoes, which can sometimes transmit the infection to horses, other animals, and, in rare cases, people.

The following reports are based on laboratory tests and are provided to the public and medical professions as an effort to create an awareness of the presence of arboviral diseases in NH.
