NH Diabetes Data (50 pages) is an annual compilation of data on diabetes from the Department of Health & Human Services. The data can be used to document the magnitude of the public health problem, to monitor disease trends over time, to detect changes in health care practices, to evaluate control strategies and to facilitate planning. The report contains features such as data on the·prevalence overweight and physical inactivity and diabetes by demographic group; data from diabetes-related questions from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System; information on clinical prevention practices for adults with diabetes; and discussion of minority health data collection from the New Hampshire REACH 2010 Initiative.
The Issue Brief for Diabetes in New Hampshire (4 pages) is a summary of the most current available data and contains facts and figures including the number of people in New Hampshire with diabetes, risk factors and other medical information.
