Customer Payment Services

 

Customer Service:  DCSS Customer Service Representatives are available to provide general information about child support, including application information, and answer most questions about current cases.  Call DCSS Customer Service to report changes such as a new employer or a new address.  Calling DCSS Customer Service first, instead of the District Office handling a case, helps the DCSS worker establish or enforce the case.  Information given to DCSS Customer Service is sent promptly to your child support worker for follow-up action.

 

Voice Response System:  This is an automated telephone system that provides up-to-date child support payment information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Voice Response will tell you the amount of the current payment and the last 5 payments plus account balance information, whether you pay or receive child support.  Voice Response also provides general information about child support services. 

 

Mailing a Child Support Payment:

When mailing a child support payment to DCSS, please make checks payable to the Department of Health & Human Services or NH DHHS, and include your case number and/or social security number.

Direct Deposit:  Direct deposit is an easy and safe way to receive child support payments.  Payments are sent automatically to an existing bank account.  To sign up and learn more, visit DCSS Direct Deposit Enrollment.
