Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Keeping Children and Families Safe (112 pages) is a five-year comprehensive child and family services plan. Public review of the plan was required and took place in 2004. A vital part of the plan is the Program Improvement Plan that was generated from the results of NH Child and Family Service Review that took place in 2003.
The 2005 Annual Progress and Services Report (APSR - 221 pages) is a supplement to the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Keeping Children and Families Safe required by US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families in order to maintain state eligibility for funds provided under the Title IV-B, Preserving Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) Grant, and the Child Abuse prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) Grant. The ASPR also is required to be a public document that describes essential efforts, programs and services offered by DCYF, including programs or services newly developed or changed during the past year. The APSR also contains details concerning the progress achieved in each action step presented in the five year Child and Family Services Plan. |
