The Division for Children Youth & Families Pursuit of Accreditation Report

(38 pages) researches the feasibility, costs and outcomes associated with the pursuit of accreditation by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Children, Youth and Families.

In the fall of 2003, the Division for Children, Youth and Families contracted with the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) to review the division's organizational structure, operations, planning, staffing and caseload-to-staff ratio for the purpose of developing a plan to obtain accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA).  The plan was submitted to the governor and several legislative and advisory committees by February 1, 2004.
