Questions about payments to DCYF/DJJS Providers

Where do I send my paper bill?

All bills for community based ancillary services and residential care services, with the exception of legal and guardian ad litem bills, should be sent to:

Department of Health and Human Services

DCYF -  Provider Relations
129 Pleasant Street
Concord, NH 03301

All legal and guardian ad litem bills should be sent to the court having jurisdiction over the case.

How can I submit a claim electronically via the Web?

Submission via the web is available for residential care providers at this time.  Expansion of web billing for selected community based ancillary services is anticipated to be complete by the end of Summer 2009.  For information to obtain access to residential web billing, please email provider_relations@dhhs.state.nh.us or call 1-800-852-3345, ext 7313.

When will I be paid?

Payments normally take 2-3 weeks for processing.

If you have not received a payment for a billed service, please contact the Automated Voice Response System at 1-888-294-4353.

If you are unable to receive an update on the status of a submitted bill from automated voice response, please call DCYF Provider Relations at 1- 800-852-3345 (Ext 4954) or (603) 271-4954. You may also email Provider Relations at provider_relations@dhhs.state.nh.us.

Lost Checks

If you have misplaced a check please contact Provider Relations at 1-800-852-3345 (Ext 4954) or (603) 271-4954.

You will be asked for your Resource ID number, the approximate date that the check was received, and check total if known.  Provider Relations staff will request a stop payment and re-issuance of the check. This process normally takes 10-14 days.  Please do not cash the original check if received once the stop payment process has been started.
