Division of Family Assistance Net Monthly Income Limits

Published Date:03/01/2008
Author:Division of Family Assistance

The DFA Net Monthly Income Limits (1 page) document provides information about income limits for eligibility for the programs listed below:

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
  • Old Age Assistance (OAA)
  • Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled (APTD)
  • Aid to the Needy Blind (ANB)
  • Emergency Assistance
  • Medicaid
  • Healthy Kids
  • Medicare Beneficiary Savings Programs
  • Food Stamps

Net income limits are determined by subtracting all allowable deductions and expenses, for a specific program, from gross monthly income.  If earnings exceed  what is identified as a net income limit you may still qualify for assistance.  NH residents who seek assistance for any of these programs should apply at a DHHS District Office to have their individual circumstances evaluated.  Applications for NH Healthy Kids medical insurance can be mailed; no District Office visit is required.
