The Division of Family Assistance administers public assistance programs in accordance with NH Statutes and Administrative Rules and federal laws and regulations.  The manuals below contain the official DFA policy that governs the administration of its programs.

Policy manuals are updated monthly to reflect any program policy changes.

FAM -- Family Assistance Manual (Child Care; Temporary Assistance for Needy Families; Healthy Kids Medical Coverage; Emergency Assistance)

 

AAM -- Adult Assistance Manual (Old Age Assistance; Aid to the Needy Blind; Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled; Medicare Beneficiary Savings; Nursing Facility Care; Home and Community Based Care)

 

FSM -- Food Stamp Manual ( Food Stamps)

 

SRM -- Supervisory Release Manual (Revisions for the above manuals are issued via Supervisory Releases that include brief narratives describing policy changes.)
