New Hampshire's Assessment of the National Public Health Performance Standards: Report 2006 (79 pages) provides the results of a process undertaken in Fall 2005 by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health Services (DHHS, DPHS), and over 100 health and human service professionals, from both public and private sectors, to assess the capacity and performance of the public health system in New Hampshire. Participants used the State Public Health Assessment Instrument to rate the state public health system's ability to carry out the Ten Essential Services of public health. Scores for each of the essential services and comments and recommendations of the participants are provided in the report. |
