Suicide is a significant growing public health concern. In NH suicides outnumber homicides nearly 6 to 1 and is the second leading cause of death for those under the age of twenty five.
The NH Suicide Prevention Plan (13 pages) identifies initiatives for prevention, recommendations to improve access to mental health services and actions that create awareness within NH communities and the health care profession.
