The Division of Public Health Services is responsible for providing leadership and core public health capacity for NH citizens. The mission of DPHS is to assure the health and well being of communities and populations in NH by protecting and promoting the physical, mental and environmental health of its citizens, and by preventing disease, injury and disability. DPHS is organized into four major program areas and one administrative support unit as listed below.
