Stronger Medicine - Restoring the Financial Health of

NH's Community Health Centers (CHCs) are key to delivering health services to the state's uninsured and underinsured residents; providing comprehensive primary care to thousands of NH residents each year.  In October 2000, DHHS conducted a financial analysis of the CHCs.  The following report was produced in response:

 

From the CHC Capital Finance Work Group, Stronger Medicine:  Restoring the Financial Health of NH's CHCs (15 pages), is a report based on a review of current information on the capital needs of CHCs and identification of possible sources of funding for these capital needs.  The focus is in two areas: increasing revenues and resources for CHCs and improving CHC finance and operations.
