The Immunization Program purchases all recommended vaccines for all NH children from birth through 18 years of age regardless of insurance or income. These vaccines are provided without charge to health care providers caring for NH children. All NH children are eligible to receive the vaccines that protect against these diseases:
- Diphtheria
- Haemophilus Influenza Type B (Hib)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- HPV (human papillomavirus)
- Influenza
- Measles
- Meningitis
- Polio
- Mumps
- Pertussis
- Pneumococcal
- Rotavirus
- Rubella
- Tetanus
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
Families can access vaccines for their child through the child's health care provider. Although there should not be a fee for a vaccine, a vaccination or immunization administration fee may be charged. There may also be a charge for an office visit. If you cannot afford the office visit fee for immunization visits, speak with your health care provider about options that might be available to you.
