Welcome to the Youth Services Center
On Monday, April 3, 2006, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the John H. Sununu Youth Services Center was held in Manchester. NH Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner John Stephen hosted the event that was attended by dignitaries and guests from throughout the State, including Governor John Lynch and former Governors John H. In addition to Governor Sununu cutting the ribbon to open the new $29 million dollar facility that will house juvenile offenders, the library of the facility was dedicated in honor of late NH State Representative Lionel Washington Johnson.
About the Youth Services Center
The Youth Services Center is located on a sprawling campus at the north end of Manchester. Residents at the Youth Services Center range in age from 13 to 17 years old.
