The New Hampshire Adolescent Health Strategic Plan (62 pages) documents a comprehensive planning process undertaken by the Maternal & Child Health Section and the UNH Center on Adolescence in order to arrive at a clear understanding of adolescent health needs in NH. The report contains recommendations developed after careful examination of available data and input about our adolescent's needs in the context of national recommendations for ensuring adolescent health, research on adolescents and their development, and commonly accepted theories about effective approaches to working with youth and their families. The result is a framework of recommendations and objectives that provides structure and focus to efforts toward improving adolescent health in New Hampshire.
