The MEAD Program, designed to permit Medicaid eligible individuals to work and maintain their Medicaid coverage, is determined by the research consultant, Dr. Robin Clark, to be a relatively inexpensive program that has significant benefits for program participants.
Evaluation of the MEAD Program: February 2002 - June 2005 (54 pages). This research study provides an economic evaluation of the MEAD Program over a 3-year period. The report provides demographics, enrollment by county, impact on participants' employment earnings, health care utilization and costs, and types of employment.
