Eligibility for services provided by the Ombudsman Office is based solely on the need to resolve issues with DHHS or it's contractors or to resolve a civil rights issue. There are no income, resource or related eligibility requirements. You may find the services of the Ombudsman Office helpful if you have a problem with DHHS or its contractors about your rights or services including the grievance process or the results, or if you feel you have been a victim of discriminatory practices by DHHS.
DHHS policy is to not discriminate against individuals because of their race, creed, color, sex, age, political affiliation or beliefs, religion, national origin, handicap, or disability. DHHS does not tolerate discrimination in accessing, accepting, or providing services in any division program or activity.
