DHHS does not discriminate because of race, creed, color, sex, age, political affiliation or belief, religion, national origin, or handicap. DHHS has adopted an internal complaint procedure providing prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any action prohibited by federal statutes and regulations regarding discrimination.
The Civil Rights Policy & Complaint Procedure (2 pages) outlines the internal complaint procedure. Any person who believes s/he is a victim of unlawful discrimination must report the alleged act (s) to DHHS as soon as possible but within 60 days of the incident. |
