Possession and operation of radiation machines (e.g., x-ray machines and accelerators) are regulated in NH. Persons having radiation machines are required to register them using the Application for Radiation Machine Registration. Instructions and applicable fee information are included with this form.
Persons proposing to bring a radiation machine (e.g.; an x-ray machine) into NH from out-of-state on a temporary basis are required by NH Statute to provide Radiological Health with certain information. The Application for Reciprocal Recognition of Out-of-State Radiation Machines is a request that NH recognize an out-of-state radiation machine registration and allow the machine to be used in NH.
