The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has enabled each individual who lives or works within the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) surrounding either Seabrook Station or Vermont Yankee to receive one 130-mg tablet of potassium iodide (KI) from the DHHS Division of Public Health Services to use in the event of a radiological emergency.
