Children without access to dental care may be eligible for dental services through the Healthy Kids program. Children without access to dental care may also qualify for preventive dental treatment in communities where there is a school-based dental program or a community health center with a dental program. In some communities, adults may also be eligible for dental services.
Healthy Kids Dental Services: Medicaid Client Services can provide the names of Medicaid dental providers in your region if you or your child enrolls in Healthy Kids.
Dental Program Provider Eligibility: To be eligible to receive funding as an oral health program provider for DHHS, applicants must:
- Comply with the NH Dental Practice Act;
- Provide dental services under the supervision of a licensed NH dentist to low-income and uninsured people and Medicaid clients;

- Provide direct restorative care or assistance to obtain restorative care for patients in financial need or without an established provider;
- Collect and report oral health data to the Division of Public Health Services (DPHS);
- Explore other sources of funding to supplement DPHS funds; and
