The New Hampshire Employment Program (NHEP) is both a financial assistance program and a work program. This pamphlet describes the work program that is designed to help NH families with able-bodied parents become self-supporting by providing employment, job readiness, education, and training services. NHEP's focus is "Work First." This means every NHEP activity has one goal - employment.  This pamphlet provides information such as:

• The various components of NHEP;
• Who must participate;
• Meeting with an Employment Counselor Specialist;
• Support services you'll receive; and
• Meeting NHEP requirements.
