The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families State Plan Renewal 2005 (61 pages) provides an overview of assistance to families with children from funds provided under Title I of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-193).
This plan is a continuation of the state plan initially submitted on October 1, 1996, and deemed complete by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on November 12, 1996.
Complete new plans were submitted effective October 1, 1999 and October 1, 2000 to renew New Hampshire's status as an eligible state. Various amendments have been completed, the last being March 2005. This new plan, effective September 1, 2005, renews New Hampshire's status as an eligible state and incorporates changes made from March through August 2005. |
