Women, Infants & Children Nutrition Services - Eligibility for Women, Infants & Children Nutrition Services

For WIC services:

Pregnant women
Breastfeeding women up to 12 month after the infant's birth
Non-breastfeeding women up to 6 months after the infant's birth
Infants, and children up to their fifth birthday

For CSFP services:

New mothers up to 12 months after the birth of their infant
Children up to their sixth birthday
Seniors 60 years and older

Individuals may not participate in both programs, although families may have individuals enrolled in both WIC and CSFP.

Eligibility Requirements:

For WIC services:

Must be income eligible, reside in the service area covered by the local agency, and be nutritionally at risk as determined by a staff nutritionist. Services are available by calling 1-800-WIC-4321, or by calling the local agency closest to where one lives.

Income guidelines are up to 185% of federal gross income, and are based on family size.
