The NH Medicaid program pays for certain health care costs, including prescriptions, for individuals with low incomes.

NH Medication Bridge Program

This program is sponsored by the Foundation for Healthy Communities and assists individuals with lower incomes who do not have insurance coverage for prescription drugs. Income limits may vary widely depending upon the medication and manufacturer.

A statewide network of community-based resources for seniors, adults with disabilities and their families. There is no cost related to use ServiceLink and it is available to anyone who needs assistance, advice or help with an issue relating to a senior or disabled adult living in the community.

Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage

The new prescription drug benefit is available to all people who have Medicare Part A or Part B, or both regardless of income.

United States veterans who were honorably discharged from active military service are eligible for discounted medications.

  • Medication Samples
    Ask your doctor for samples of your prescription drugs.
  • Generic Prescriptions
    Ask your doctor or pharmacist if there is a generic version of the prescription drug. A generic drug usually costs much less than the brand name drug.
  • Emergency Assistance
    Contact your town or city offices for information about available assistance to help pay for medications.
