New Hampshire Hospital's two libraries provide access to informative, current, and relevant research and related resources to assist staff and patients in promoting recovery and wellness. Library staff provide Reference and Interlibrary Loan services for Hospital staff in accordance with requirements of the National Library of Medicine and the New Hampshire State Library.
This library is open to patients and staff of NHH and provides reference service, access to Internet and e-mail, educational and recreational books, newspapers, and magazines. Patrons may borrow one book at a time for one week. The librarian can assist patrons in accessing talking books and listening equipment for the blind and visually impaired from the NH State Library Talking Books Division.

Dorothy M. Breene Memorial Library
The Dorothy M. Breene Memorial Library supports the information and educational needs of the New Hampshire Hospital and mental health communities with a comprehensive collection in psychology, psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, allied health, social work, and pastoral care. The collection consists of over 60 print journals and approximately 2,000 books. The Library also provides access to the following full text electronic databases through Ebscohost: Medline, CINAHL, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, and Cochrane.
