Breast & Cervical Cancer Program

NH's Let No Woman Be Overlooked Breast and Cervical Cancer Program plans, promotes and implements programs of education and screening to reduce the mortality rates, through early detection, of breast and cervical cancer among NH women.

This mission is carried out statewide through a comprehensive program which addresses:

  • screening,
  • public education,
  • coalition building,
  • quality assurance,
  • case management;
  • professional education.

The Let No Woman Be Overlooked program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women age 18-64 who have no health insurance or have insurance that does not pay for screening tests and with family incomes at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Income guidelines are updated each year in February. The screenings are offered at many health care sites including NH hospitals and physician offices.

The program offers eligible participants access to the following services:

  • Women's Health Exam
  • Mammography
  • Pap Test
  • Pelvic Exam

Cervical cancer screening is mainly for women who have never had a Pap test or have not had one in over 5 years. Mammography screening is mainly for women age 50-64.
