111 AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES (AR) (FAM)

An authorized representative (AR) may assist or represent an individual in any aspect of the eligibility or Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) process. See FAM 707, Issuing Benefits, for additional information on AR’s and EBT.

The AR is a person or agency chosen by the individual who:

·         Assumes all applicant and recipient functions; and

·         Acts on behalf of the individual in all or some of the aspects of initial and continuing eligibility.
