127.03 Failure to Appear for an Interview (FAM)

When the individual fails to appear for an interview by the 30th day after the application for financial assistance was filed, the application shall be denied. After the 30th day the current application is no longer valid and the applicant will need to submit a new application.

 

When the individual contacts the office within 30 days of the original application filing date, BFA Form 807, Interview Appointment Notice (manual notice), is provided to the individual with a new interview date and time. The application process including the return of all required verifications must be completed by the 30th day or the individual must submit a new application.
