SR 06-12 Dated 10/06

Previous Policy

____________________________________________________________

The New Hampshire Employment Program (NHEP) promotes economic independence and strengthens family life by assisting able bodied persons with dependent children to assume responsibility for their families through the dignity of work.

This goal is accomplished by offering employment and training support services (ETS) and transitional financial assistance to enable participants to become employed.

NHEP has weekly hourly participation requirements comprised of core, secondary, and interim activities.  See Section 808.27, Hourly Participation Requirements, and Section 808.39, NHEP Activities.
