231.03 Required Verification for Categorical Eligibility (FSM)

Consider categorically eligible households to have already verified the following eligibility factors:

• resources;

• social security enumeration requirements;

• sponsored alien information; and

• residency.

If questionable, require verification of each of the following:

• the household is composed solely of individuals receiving public assistance or SSI;

• the household meets the SNAP household composition criteria; and

• the household does not include someone disqualified due to an intentional program violation or noncompliance with work registration requirements.
