PLAN FOR ACHIEVING SELF-SUPPORT (PASS) (FSM)

Money set aside for a work goal under an SSA approved PASS by a blind, disabled, or elderly SSI recipient. Any type of income may be set aside under an approved plan.

Treatment: Excluded Income

Exclude income set aside under an SSA-approved PASS for the duration of the plan. When a PASS expires, the income that was previously going into the PASS account is treated as countable income.
