AGENT ORANGE SETTLEMENT (FSM)

Payments made from the Agent Orange Settlement Fund or any other fund established to cover settlement in the Agent Orange product litigation, effective 1/1/89 (P.L. 101-201) when these payments are yearly and are disbursed by the Aetna Insurance Company.

Lump sum payments (P.L. 102-4) disbursed by Aetna are also excluded.

Exception: Although Aetna’s lump sum payments are excluded as income, monthly payments disbursed by the U.S. Treasury instead of Aetna are counted as Unearned Income.
