701.05 Nonprofit Meal Delivery Services (FSM)

Individuals may use food stamps to purchase meals from a nonprofit meal delivery service authorized by FNS, such as Meals on Wheels. To qualify, food stamp recipients must be one of the following:

• age 60 or older,

• housebound, feeble, or physically handicapped,

• otherwise disabled to the extent that they are unable to prepare all their meals, or

• spouses of any of the above.
