245.13 The 3 Consecutive Month "Cure" Period SR 96-58, 02/97 (FSM-A)

A "cured" individual who subsequently loses eligibility is allowed one additional period of up to 3 consecutive months of receipt during the 36 month period without satisfying ABAWD work participation requirements or being exempt. These months must be consecutive.

. Any month in which the "cured" recipient does not satisfy ABAWD work participation requirements must be counted toward the "3 additional consecutive months" allowed a cured individual.

. After the consecutive months of receipt have occurred, the person is ineligible to participate in the Food Stamp program for the remainder of the 36 month period unless the person meets ABAWD work participation requirements or becomes exempt.
