303.09 Out-of-State Recipient Moves into New Hampshire SR 12-29 Dated 11/12

When an individual received benefits in another state, coordinate with the out-of-state agency to establish eligibility dates for New Hampshire benefits.

Verify that the individual did not participate in another household in the month of application.

If the individual has a closing notification from another state, it is not necessary to contact the out-of-state agency.

Exception: If the individual is Able-Bodied and Without Dependents (ABAWD), verify:

• Any month of Food Stamp receipt in another state within the previous 36 months, beginning no earlier than 11/1/2012, in which the individual was required to but was not complying with ABAWD work requirements;

• Begin date of the current 36-month period if after November 1, 2012; and

• If the applicant has used the "cure" months of receipt (see PART 245, ABLE BODIED ADULTS WITHOUT DEPENDENTS).
