315.05 Sanctions/Disqualifications for Voluntary Quit SR 97-09, 03/97 (FSM-A)

If an individual voluntarily quits a job without good cause within 60 days preceding the application, or has voluntarily reduced work hours to below 30 hours per week while receiving benefits, impose the minimum mandatory sanction effective with date of application. Deny the individual for:

• 1 month for the first violation; or

• 3 months for the second violation; or

• 6 months for the third and subsequent violations.

If the quit is discovered during participation in the program, the same penalties apply starting from the date the voluntary quit was discovered.
