707.01 Mailing Addresses SR 98-51, 12/98 (FSM-A)

The Postal Service delivers official DFA mail, such as Notices of Decision, to home addresses. Mail may be sent to a post office box or to a general delivery address, but only if one of the following is true:

. home delivery of mail is not available where the recipient lives, or

. mail pilferage is an extensive problem in the recipient's area.

Determine whether the recipient has a valid reason for use of a post office box or general delivery address.
