FINANCIAL ANALYST
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Division for Children, Youth, & Families / Concord

Starting Salary Range: $50,914.50 - $60,567.00

SCOPE OF WORK: Reviews, reconciles, and interprets financial and client data and develops management summary reports, establishes, implements, and monitors budget for purchased services; develops guidelines to determine cost reimbursement of purchased services and perform financial audits to ensure financial compliance of various federal and state laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master’s degree from a recognized college or university with major study in accounting, finance, economics, public administration, or business administration. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Five years’ experience in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or business management with at least three years concerned with accounting and regulations applicable to the agency. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education at the graduate level only.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong computer skills and experience with State of New Hampshire budgetary structure and process.

Employees will be required to pay an agency/union fee.
