SUPERVISOR VII
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Division of Client Services / Office of Human Services / Brown
Salary Range:
$50,914.50 - $60,567.00
SCOPE OF WORK: To supervise program administration and to evaluate subordinate District Office and Unit Supervisors in the planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of Division of Client Services (DCS) programs and services to achieve department goals, standards, and objectives. This position reports to the Administrator of DCS Field Operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master's degree from a recognized college or university.
Experience: Seven years experience in public assistance with responsibility for planning, monitoring or evaluating public assistance programs, or determining eligibility for public assistance programs, plus four years in a supervisory or management level position involving program administration, program planning and evaluation, business management or related management experience. If related to the program area, the supervisory or management experience will count as part of the seven years total experience. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education at the graduate level only.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration, Supervisor VII applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification. The structured interview is developed and administered, according to Division of Personnel guidelines, by representatives of the state agency in which the vacancy exists.
Preferred Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of Division of Client Services District Office staffing, programs, operations, policy, processes, procedures and computer systems, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, e-mail systems, New HEIGHTS, Bridges, Centra Remote, NECSES, AIM/MMIS, EDGE, and the NHES system is preferred.
License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and/or access to transportation for use in statewide travel.
