263.05 RMA Application Processing Time Frame (MAM)

The official Filing Date for the application is the date when the application is:

. completed as described in Section 263.03, Completing an Application for RMA; and

. received by the District Office.

The time frames for processing the application begins on the date the completed DFA Form 800, Application for Assistance, and Insert, or DFA Form 800MA and Insert, is filed in the District Office. Once DFA Form 800/DFA Form 800MA and inserts are filed, schedule all applicants for an initial eligibility interview.

Determine eligibility for RMA as quickly as possible, but no later than 45 days from the date of application for RMA.
