William L. Baggeroer
Bill has served as Chief Information Officer for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services since he began State service in July 2008. Since July of 2012, Bill has also been serving as the Director of the Office of Information Services.
Bill oversees the Department's information services which includes information systems strategy, planning and management; project management services; statewide health information technology exchange coordination; information security management; public website design and development; business process improvement efforts, including the Department's Lean initiatives; data management services, including the Department's data warehouse; and the assessment and implementation of emerging technologies to drive productivity and reduce operating costs.
Prior to joining the Department, Bill held several positions as an information systems manager and consultant. Positions include Director of Program Management at the global IT management consulting firm, Sapient Corporation; Principal Consultant for Microsoft Business Solutions partner, Atlantic Business Solutions; Director of Information Technology for Internet content provider Mirror Image Internet; CIO / VP of Information Systems for Polartec manufacturer Malden Mills Industries; Director of Delivery Services for international IT management consulting firm, DMR Group; and Director of Information Systems for the architectural / design products and services retailer, Charrette Corporation.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Management (MBA) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
